Trader Joe's Copycat Dog Biscuit Mix
Here's a good basic dog biscuit recipe that's easy to make and versatile.

- 1 cup Oat Flour
- 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
- 1 Egg
- 3/4 cup Chicken Broth
- 1 Tbsp Honey
- 1 Tbsp Coconut Oil
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
Customizations....
- 3/4 cup Green Beans (or 1/4 cup Frozen Chopped Spinach)
- 1/4 cup Chopped Parsley
- 2 Tbsp Chopped Basil or Mint
- 1/2 cup Chopped Apples
Preheat oven to 350* Fahrenheit. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
Combine oat flour, wheat flour and baking soda in a large bowl. (To make oat flour, pulse oats in a small blender to make a coarse powder.)
Add egg, chicken broth and honey to make a crumbly mixture.
**If adding customizations: pulse spinach or green beans with herbs and 1/2 the chicken broth until smooth. Add to mixture. Then add chopped apples during the next step.
Add coconut oil and combine with your hands to form a smooth dough.
Roll out dough to 1/4 inch thick and cut into desired shapes.
Bake for 20 minutes, then turn over the biscuits and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
Biscuits are done when they are light brown. They will be crunchy.
